Jane Atkins and her students discovered the tiny jewel of a monarch chrysalis nestled in the native landscape on the central island at the Habitat, towards the end of November. After careful monitoring, students were also lucky to observe the emergence of the beautiful butterfly. A true testament to building native plant habitats !
